The iPad is a great device, not very very friendly when trying to add files that are not part of the Apple world, such as books from your PC. GoodReader makes adding books to the Ipad easy. You do need to convert books from ePub to PDF format though, but there are many converters out there to do this easily.

Solid, reliable and full-featured. One of the most-used apps on my phone.

I tried many pdf readers, but like Goodreader the best. Its very functional, easy to use, allows easy and quick annotations and bookmarks, and has a real good search function.

This app is jam-packed with all kinds of features and is efficient and stable. It is a great quality app – perhaps my best spent money ever on the App Store. The new update fixes my biggest complaints: Lack of iPad Pro and multitasking support. My iPad life is complete again and I am very happy!

This is a fantastic app, I use it every day to read PDFs and take notes. It has lots of useful features and tons of options to connect to various document sources. It also gets updated often - now with split view support which is really handy!

Now with support for IPad Pro and multitasking, it has become one of my essential productivity app.

Ive used GR for a long time, very unhappy that this latest version has totally broken the remote server function on both iPhone and iPad, I depend on this feature. Please fix it quickly, GR people.

I have been using this and the previous versions since about 1.x version. Its the only app I use as often as the core apple apps. Its just indispensable. It works its easy to use and if you device is old the engine steps down to prevent crashes. Just buy it. Its a great tool. FYI. I use it for hundreds of old word files excel, PDFs shop drawings, pictures, music files, I think it does movies too. Just added signatures. I asked for this and I guess it was a popular idea. Well done too.

I, too, am a long time user of GoodReader. One of the most recent features that I just discovered was listening to an audio file, using GoodReader, and simultaneously viewing the pdf. In the Reading View there is an icon to bring up the audio control... Simply put - brilliant idea. I have better control here than using any other audio solution. I needed to clear up an iOS device; and the pdf files from GoodReader needed safe storage off of the iOS. GoodReaders in-line help system, to the rescue, with easy to understand screen shots and text to create the Wi-Fi browser connectivity. Very impressive to a non-geek type. What are you waiting for? This is the leading PDF viewing app in the App Store, but its really not fit for purpose unless your purpose is an extremely complex setup involving the handling of hundreds of PDFs, and vast amounts of Internet research. You also have to be a former Windows user, or a senior citizen to appreciate the ridiculous old-school interface of menus, buttons and obtuse settings. The app designers make the classic mistake of including everything *including* the kitchen sink in the App leading to possibly the worst, and most cluttered UI I have ever seen. There is more space devoted to the clunky UI than there is to your files.

1. Ability to annotate a PDF with a photo, and 2. Take a photo, convert it into a PDF, and then be be able to annotate it. Otherwise, great app!

Its the best reader Ive used. Great for viewing, annotation, printing, and browsing PDF files... Just awesome...

Have been using it for years. Great with iPad Pro for markups.

Unfortunately useless for us since they still doesnt have a basic feature like "Continuous Scroll" which you cant read table, spec, music sheet or lyric without always switch between two entire page.

Relatively easy to learn. Brilliant for reading patterns. One thing that would be a really useful feature would be a copy/paste feature. Also, when toggling between pages, to not always default to the bottom of the page. Hopefully these are some changes we will see with future updates. The app will be untouchable if these update are implemented. But Id say its worth the money.
